Our long time fall event provides a variety of games, goodies, a concession stand, inflatables and a costume contest that begins at 7pm.

Christmas Parade
Our Annual Christmas Parade is tentatively scheduled for Saturday December 4th, 2010. Line-up will begin at 8am at the Homewood Library and Central Avenue with parade step-off at 9am sharp. The parade route will begin at the Homewood Library, travel through Downtown Homewood and terminate on Central Avenue at Homewood Park. Downtown Homewood is the best location to view the parade where a reviewing stand is present.
We encourage school groups, churches, neighborhood groups, businesses, civic clubs and individuals to participate in this well attended special event.
Awards will be presented for: Best Float, Best Performance and Best of Show. The Mayor’s Quality of Life Group Award will also be presented at the viewing stage during the parade in Downtown Homewood.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Homewood Easter Egg Hunt is for toddlers up to twelve years of age. Children will hunt for eggs with children of their own age group. There is also a section for children with special needs.
Location: Homewood Central Park
Date: 2011 Hunt – To Be Announced Time: Hunt begins at 11am sharp
It does not take too long for all of the eggs to disappear! Moon Walk, Train Ride and Merry Go Round will be available prior to and just after the event.

July 4th Celebration 2011
The annual July 4th Celebration will be held Monday July 4th, 2011 in Downtown Homewood beginning at 5:30pm.
Fun family atmosphere with rides, inflatables and an interactive DJ creates a festive atmosphere as we close down the streets in Downtown Homewood to celebrate our nation's birthday. All proceeds from the festival go to the Homewood Park HEAT Group.

Back to School Bash 2011
The Back to School Bash will be held in August on a date to be determined at Homewood Central Park. The event will kick off the new school year with an array of rides, inflatables, food and entertainment throughout the night. The fun starts at 5:30 and will run until 8:30. Proceeds go to selected community organizations.
